Larry,  I'm kicking myself cuz I didn't check the forums Friday and I live so close to Lake sawyer. I would jump at the chance to go out there with you and learn how to catch'em. I will be ready next time. I'm working on getting my boat ready but the "big engine" (4 hp) has a new water pump impeller on order so it's down for about a week.  Sad

Tom and Myself hit Sawyer from 0700 till 1530..(3:30 PM) and with bluebird skies and an East wind we were doomed and did.nt know it...we did find the main lake above 50 degrees and the bays breaching 50+ and very skooky Largemouth in the shallows but no biters...talked to a few folks who found the same thing...Nothing!! had several bites under docks just no hookups.

Fishing at Sawyer on the 7th was pretty much how Larry described. However, the view of Mt. Rainier was spectacular and we saw a bald eagle flying overhead not to mention I got to see Larry land a nice pan size perch  Smiley Other than the lack of fish we had a good day on the lake with plenty of sun. Thanks Larry for taking the time
to show me the lake. Looking forward to trying Lake Sawyer again someday.
